HostGator has to be one of the best web hosting company we have used. Believe us, we have used many web hosting companies in the past. This website http://www.webhostden.com is host with Hostgator.com and as well as 20 other domains on Hostgator Baby Plan at $7.95 per month. If we wanted to we can easily add more domains and the server speed will not slow down.
You will not have any problem hosting your static html sites, or dynamic web sites with huge database files.
HostGator support is as good or better than any other web host companies. In most cases, if we ever need help and needed to send a support ticket. We would get a response within 10 minutes or less. So far we only send 2 support tickets when our server was down in the past year. Both of the down time happened around 1AM EST, but everything was back to normal in less than 5 minutes. Other than that we have no complaints. You can also phone HostGator with their 1 888 number.
All Hostgator plans come with cPanel, which is the control panel you use to manage your domains and account. If you never use cPanel before, then you should check out the demo on Hostgator website. I tested them out and it turn out great. Host Gator is a reputable web hosting company. One of the biggest for a reason. Support can be a bit slow for me, but everything got resolved quickly. Overall, much better than my lost host at 1and1.
