Ok, so this is my very first hosting provider and I have 1 website that I want to host without any banners.

1. Server is always down

2. Their online live chat is outsource. Calling their technical support is hard to get through.

3. For some reason when my site does come back online about a few hours after. My site will be back when I started the site 1 week ago and I lost my files. This happened twice!

4. Also my email get a lot of spam mails. Looks like IX Web Hosting doesn’t have a good spam filter or something.

5. IX Web Hosting is plan out suck. Stay away.

I been with IX Web Hosting for about 1 year and they have a awful record with their email server. Always tons of email spamming and I find it slow most of the time. On top of that I have my web sites hack not once but two times! Someone somehow had access to my files and change the permissions on the CHMOD. All of my files were write protected but some how it got change and I told IX Web Hosting about this security issue. But IX Web Hosting would never do a single thing about and then blame me for the security issue. WTF! I’m so sick of their incompetent and they never try to fix the problem but always blaming me, the user. I know enough about computers and I know that if any file permission is set high and write protected, it should not be compromised except if this is a security problem with the server.

DON’T waste your money and time with IX Web Hosting. Their support are incompetent and their server security is questionable.

We spend months designing and preparing our products and company website to go live. Another thousands of dollars were spent in SEO and other advertisements. IX Web server went offline just days after we launched our site. The technical support were no use. Technical support are from Ukraine and they do not have access to the datacenter and our server. We finally had IX Web moved our site to a different server, which was suppose to be better and then a week later that server goes offline. Stay away! We now have move out of IX Web for good.
