I started out with Webair around 5 years ago with a small virtual plan. Things were good and biz grew. I never had any problems with service or support even on this small account. When the time came for me to upgrade to my own server I didn’t look far. Webair has always provided great support for me (even when I mess something up!). I love the live chat as I prefer that over talking on the phone. I now have a few of my own dedicated servers running with them. That says a lot. But what says more is that I always refer my clients or anyone looking for hosting their way because I know they will be taken care of.

They do have their own control panel included free which once you get used to using is actually verry good.

I just recently put in an order for one of my European clients for server in their Amsterdam data center. Setup went smooth as expected and more important my client is happy which makes me happy! I also love that I have been dealing with many of the same techs and manages over the years too. I know they been in biz since 96 or so and to keep good people over a long period shows they are a solid company not some fly by night.

So if you are looking for a host I can strongly recommend them. Comparing hostgator to a host like webair is a joke. I’ve been with hostgator and they can learn a thing or 2 from the Webair team.

I have had a dedicated server with Webair for over a year now and I am extremely happy with the reliability and speediness of their service. Any issues I have had have been taken care of very quickly, and they have been pro-active in identifying areas which may cause FUTURE issues, not simply fixing things that are problems right then. I am particularly impressed with their phone and live chat support, you get to chat with a real tech within 30-45 seconds, they are not just FAQ spewing lackies. These guys know what they are doing and usually can fix an issue right on the spot, without me having to wait for an update. All in all, I am very impressed.

I used several sites running on webair server for years, basicly i don’t think the above tells any thruth about webair, webair have been in this years, when have a website hosted there it have one the highest reliability, try other the others, they can keep your sites up and running 24/7 each days for years, only webair knows, coz a large portion of the adult industris pick hosting there, the reason they do is coz it takes a lot of juice to deliver one higres pictures after another, on HD video after another. Webair is one of the only few websites that really can keep up with the biggest sites and them run, Yeah the support, i dont know what to say, but heck I never needed any support for 5 years They have all the features u will ever need. Ease of use, i sometimes find it difficult set stuff up via there wbsite, mean it work os, it just confuses me somtimes Overall well I can say, hostgator.com, haha what a big laugh. webair will keep ur site forever

We signed up with them back in 2008 for a one year plan for their share hosting package. Everything was so great we decided to sign up a second account with Webair but on the monthly payment. About 2 or 3 months went by and we started to have some errors on our Wordpress websites. It was caused by the database, not sure exactly what caused it.

We send a support ticket to Webair and a few hours later we got a response, but the problem still there. Then we asked to have someone in the management to take a look but the problem still happening. The support would tell us it was caused by one of our Wordpress plugin and if we wanted the site to function properly we will have to disable that plugin. Unfortunate, we need that plugin and we have no other choice to move from Webair.

So, we had no other option but to move to another web host provider HostGator.com.

Overall, the server speed is good if you live in the east coast because Webair’s datacenter is located in New York and we believe there is another data center in Houston.

We find that their control panel is efficient, you can pretty much do anything you want. It is not cPanel but Webair has their own control panel. When checking our emails through the browser with Webair’s control panel, we find it very slow but if you forward all your emails to your hotmail, yahoo, or gmail accounts. That solved the problem because you don’t have to go through Webair’s email control panel.

Overall, we would not recommend Webair, but we know a lot of web masters in the porn industry loves Webair. So, if you have adult content, you might want to check them out but we would recommend HostGator.com they too allow legal adult content and way better hosting provider in every aspect.

Lastly, when we cancel our accounts we were getting automatic emails about renewing our account and it was asking for new payments. We contacted the billing department telling them to stop sending out these automatic emails asking for paymetns and this would happen for about 2-3 months until it was completely stop. We find that to be annoying.
